My friends Becca and Nicky Hackett asked me to help them with their reception flowers for their wedding in Nashville, and I jumped at the chance. I worked with Nashville Import Flowers, and they were wonderful. Ruth answered any questions I had.

Becca and Nicky's wedding was held at the Pick Inn. And while their ceremony was brought inside due to rain, it was still such a lovely wedding. I've been longing to use my love for flowers, and Becca just called me up and out into it. Working with her on the stem choices and greenery was so enjoyable for me, and then working with my hands the day of to bring our vision to life was truly a gift to me.

We employed a mostly neutral color palette that included ivory, cream, taupe, antique pink, white, and blush. I also included a lot of greens like eucalyptus, olive branches, ferns, and jasmine vine. The "pops" of color came from Icelandic Poppies. ;) They were incredible. It was a real dream come true. I'm so grateful!

My girl Catherine Kesman assisted me with the set-up and design, and Devin Sutter helped me capturing photos, as I was so busy, I needed to eat. :)
